Current Cadet's

 

Welcome to the current cadet section of the Battalion Website.The Shark Battalion, for the most part, is run by cadets. This provides cadets with the opportunity to develop and practice leadership skills. Cadets are responsible for balancing their daily lives as students while adhering to the military structure and routine. The NJROTC program offers a variety of activities that allow cadets to develop their professionalism and physical fitness, plus a chance to have some fun. These include new cadet’s orientation, Leaderships academy, mini-boot camp for NJROTC, rifle team, orienteering team, athletic team, armed/unarmed drill and exhibition team, color guard, and the battalion unit color company competition. Cadets are leaders in their social groups, as well as managers within our unit holding billets (cadet jobs) to complement the effectiveness of our unit.
