Admiral Farragut Sailing Orientation

On April 10th 25 cadets from Riverview High School NJROTC Shark Battalion traveled to Admiral Farragut Academy (AFA) in StPetersburg, FL to participate in Sailing Orientation. Captain Tom McClelland U.S. Navy(Ret.) Director of Naval Science & Sailing Instructor/Sailing Coach provided instruction to the cadets in the mechanics of sailing and safety. All cadets got a chance to apply what they learned out on the water with the current fleet of sailboats at AFA like the 420s, Lasers, Sunfish and Capri 13s.
